Arturo Vidal has told representatives to speak with Brazilian club Flamengo about a possible transfer to the club.
The Chilean midfielder’s contract with Inter Milan runs until mid-2023. But the player has had little chance of playing in Simone Inzaghi‘s squad and has been reduce in importance. It has been report that he may part ways with the ufabet club at the end of the season.
Goal recently reported that Vidal has informed his agent to open talks with Flamengo over an offer from the Brazilian club.
In March, the 34-year-old midfielder had actually said that he had a chance to move to Brazil. And now that’s more likely, according to media reports.
It is believe that both Vidal and Nguyen are ready to negotiate the termination of the contract in order to allow the transfer of the team to be more convenient. Still, the ex-Juventus and Barcelona midfielder’s next destination has yet to be confirm.
The 34-year-old’s current contract with the Nerazzurri is set to run out at the end of June. Though there is an option in it for another season. Which the club must pay him a severance in order to avoid triggering.
Should the midfielder agree a deal with Flamengo through his representatives. Then he could take a big step away from a future with Inter, though that would still be some way away.
